During the episode Eric introduces his latest kickstarter, a republishing of his classic comics in 3 new volumes, if their campaign is successful, the books will be released as bound editions ready for anyone to look respectable in a library when they’re actually reading comics about Jesus bringing holy justice with a rain of lead.

I had a really great time getting to follow Eric’s journey through his early start in film school and as a video producer at aged 19, all the way through starting his own business; learning hard lessons by putting his heart and hard work on the line and eventually becoming the proud owner of his own company, Epic Digital.

Getting to this point took Eric 10 years of hard work, clever planning and iron-clad determination.  We talk about what it’s like to be on a film shoot wondering whether or not you’re about to be busted by the cops; how difficult it is for an indie studio to find its footing… and what he did to make it there.

We talk about his latest comics and the potential live-action possibilities that might stem from them one day, most notably Space Bastards:

  3. “Albert, fire up the time machine” – freakin’ hilarious, this guy knows how to do comedy the right way. This could have successfully been a TV series; it made me think of Korgoth The Barbarian.
